Googan Squad Grass Hero Jig Chartreuse White, 3/8 oz, 4/0 Hook

The Googan Squad Grass Hero Jig in Chartreuse White at 3/8 oz is a sleek, weedless jig engineered to dominate heavy vegetation and pull big bass out of the thickest cover on the lake. There's a reason bass hang out in grass — it's a buffet line loaded with their favorite foods, and the Grass Hero Jig is designed to look like one of those meals dropping right into the strike zone.

The slender, pointed head cuts through matted grass, hydrilla, milfoil, and other heavy vegetation with ease, and as the Grass Hero falls into open pockets below the surface, its color-matched silicone skirt flares with lifelike movement that draws the attention of nearby predators. The Chartreuse White pattern mimics natural forage that bass are already conditioned to eat, making every fall look like an easy, natural meal.

A strong, sharp 4/0 hook with a wide gap handles big bass and accommodates your favorite soft plastic trailer for added bulk and action. The extra-stiff weed guard keeps the Grass Hero snag-free in even the nastiest vegetation, so you spend more time fishing and less time cleaning off your bait. At 3/8 oz, the fall rate is natural enough to trigger bites from bass that are set up in the cover and waiting to ambush.

If you're having trouble targeting bass holed up in thick grass, the Grass Hero Jig is the answer. It's built to get in, get the bite, and get the fish out. Squad Tip: Thread on a Googan Squad Krackin' Craw as a trailer, punch it through matted grass, and let it fall on a semi-tight line. Most bites happen on that initial drop — the Grass Hero straight catches 'em when other jigs can't get the job done.

• Sleek Weedless Head Design - The Grass Hero Jig features a slender, pointed head that cuts through heavy grass and vegetation like a hot knife through butter. Where other jigs get buried in the slop, the Grass Hero penetrates cover and falls into the strike zone where bass are waiting to ambush.
• Color-Matched Silicone Skirt - A premium, color-matched silicone skirt waves and pulses with lifelike movement on every fall and retrieve. The natural action mimics shad, bluegill, crawfish, or any other forage bass are keyed in on — making the Grass Hero look like an easy meal dropping through the cover.
• Sharp, Wide-Gap 4/0 Hook - Equipped with a strong, sharp 4/0 hook with a wide gap that accommodates your favorite soft plastic trailer. The hook is built to handle big bass that bury themselves in heavy cover, giving you the power to pull fish out of the thickest grass mats and laydowns with confidence.
• Stiff Weed Guard for Snag-Free Fishing - An extra-stiff weed guard keeps the Grass Hero out of trouble in the heaviest vegetation, letting you fish it through matted grass, hydrilla, milfoil, and lily pad stems without constantly hanging up. More time in the water means more bites.
• Lifelike Falling Action at 3/8 oz - The 3/8 oz weight gives the Grass Hero a natural, moderate fall rate that triggers strikes from bass that are set up in vegetation. As it descends through the cover, the skirt flares and the whole presentation looks like a bluegill or crawfish dropping to the bottom — exactly what bass want to eat.
• The Ultimate Grass Fishing Weapon - When bass are holed up in thick vegetation and won't come out for anything else, the Grass Hero Jig saves the day. Squad Tip: Thread on a Krackin' Craw trailer, punch it through matted grass, and let it fall on a semi-tight line. Most bites come on the initial drop — be ready.
